Homeworlds

the words and worlds of mint is the part of the Internet that hosts the fiction work of a little-known and notoriously lazy/unproductive/unrealistic freelance writer from Singapore known as Mint Kang.

The code for unravelling this website:

Forgotten Words: a list of things that made it to print.

Many Worlds: a list of things that did not make it to print.

Monologue: because this is a blog masquerading as a website, there are blog posts.  Inevitably.

Otherspace Places: links to things that can be nice to look at.

All the worlds themselves in the right-hand column.

And http://worldsofmint.deviantart.com/ to find all the pretty pictures that come and go with the worlds.

words from mint:

when it comes to me

I write (sometimes)

I edit (sloppily)

I publish (but only on the Web these days)

and I have been writing since 1994; although I didn’t get serious about it until 1998. writing “real stuff” for the business papers and the management magazines pays the bills; but I still dream about science fiction and half-baked fantasy. there was a time when I used to draw pretty pictures but they seem to have dried up.

sometimes I write bad poetry and my plays won consolation prizes a long time ago (but I don’t write plays any more.)

I used to hate fan fiction and fan art but now I guess some of it has its place; I quote but never plagiarize. otherwise there is nothing interesting to say about me.

when it comes to this place (website blogsite blog blogologue what-you-call-it)

everyone needs an inner place and mine is in bluuwespace and Yahoo! Geocities is closing down and so here I am. once upon a time my words just tumbled out but now I have them in worlds so I can find them more easily.

if you already knew who I was then you know what it’s like here; if you don’t know who I am then I guess the only way to find out is to find out because I am a bad guide when it comes to bluuwespace and a worse guide when it comes to my worlds.

in my worlds the eidolon of me dies quite often.  you have been warned.
